NERCHA employs approximately 80 employees in 6 offices around the Kingdom of Eswatini, including on all four regions of the country. NERCHA’s head office is located in Mbabane in the Hhohho region. The majority of our employees are professionals and support staff, ranging from programme management, accountancy, IT services, information management services, people service, finance and administrative support. All employees are employed under the Eswatini Employment Act of ___ as amended.

Eligibility Requirements

Kingdom of Eswatini Citizenship 

To be eligible for employment you must be citizen of the Kingdom of Eswatini unless the Executive Director waives this requirement. 


To be eligible for employment at NERCHA in any capacity you must possess relevant and formal qualifications as stipulated in the job advertisement. 

Fit and Proper Person Assessment 

Before you are offered employment you are required to pass a security and character check. This will include a Police Records check. 

Health Clearance 

Every employee is expected to be covered in the employer medical insurance scheme.

Preparing Your Application

Initial Steps 

  • Obtain and read the selection material for the position. The selection material lists the duties and the competencies (selection criteria) for the position; 

  • Seek clarification or additional information about NERCHA or the position by taking the opportunity to speak with the contact officer nominated in the advertisement; 

  • Conduct some research on NERCHA. Useful resources are available on this site e.g. the Annual Report, NERCHA Corporate Plan, National Strategic Framework etc; 

  • Be aware of the closing date and how to lodge your application. If, for any reason, you cannot submit your application by the closing date, you should discuss this with the contact officer, at the earliest opportunity.

  • the selection panel responsible for assessing your application 

  • the delegate (the manager who has the authority to approve selection decisions) 

  • the recruitment team that administers recruitment for the us.
